need a program to convert swf to flv for youtube!

anyone can help me to convert flash swf file to youtube flv ? i've upload a flash file to youtube, but it returns an error as can't convert the .swf file, so it can't be displayed. i've tried some screen record program but the output video format is .avi. so i want to find a program which can convert swf to flv directly, any suggestion ?

One way to record BBC iPlayer radio and tv shows is to download them from the BBC's "Listen Again" service using the program get_iPlayer - which is available free from http://linuxcentre.net/getiplayer/

There are various versions of the program, for Windows 95/98/ME/XP or Linux/Unix or Mac OSX. It also runs (as a Perl script) on any O/S running...

I am going to make a purchase and I was just trying to find out what software would best fit my needs. I am a beginner. I would like to capture streaming video clips and save them to my HD. So far I have looked at Replay and WM. I wanted to get something that is good all around and could maybe record everything. I know they work for FLV, but what would be best for RTM, RTMP, WM... Audio Question

I'm old and not technically minded so I'm seeking advice.

I can record an hour long internet streamed radio programme using mp3mymp3.com BUT I dont want to keep the verbals and the station announcements and I just want to isolate the tunes I select and to title them then put them in My Music in
My Documents in mp3 format.

Is there an audio capture program I could use for this?

Hi people,

Im having problems downloading streams from Adultdvdempire, though i was able to download streams before (last time i tried was around 3 weeks or so). Now the file just stops after few seconds, no idea what to do. I've been using Net Transport 1.94.279, tried aslo Stream Down but no success.

If anyone could share some informations, or give instructions what to do, i'd truly appreciate any help.

Oh, these files i downloaded were DRMed but i unDRMed...

my url snooper is giving me an "EaccessViolation" and then an "abnormal program termination" error....i tried reinstalling but it doesnt work..i tried changing the versions but the same problem...pls i need help desperatly cuz urlsnooper is an important part of my surfing and no other sniffer i found can even compare cuz i cant get them to work...thanks.
P.S i cant reinstall my windows cuz i have some very important itunes files on c: and i have to update them.

hey guys,

i was trying to get a stream provided by ondemand.livesets.com down on my hd without recording and reencoding it. as it is possible to play it back with windows media player my hope was to get it down with some streamripper. so i tried streamdown, hidownload as well as mini-stream ripper and vlc player. but none of 'em could get the file down. i downloaded the .asx file and in there are 2 links:

WellGet and live streaming media?

I've been trying out different software for recording live streaming media (asf specifically). I have figured out how to do that with SDP and GetASFStream, but not WellGet. I could download files, but not record part of a live stream. Can someone more experienced with the software confirm if WellGet is able or not able to record a live stream, such as from mms://stream.maniatv.com/maniatv ?

When i try to download streams from certain sites the end of the video is always missing. is this a common problem with streamdown? i'm guessing from the topics that streambox and other programs are more popular.....

Need .RMs - but can't download

i need this files for an school project. I have tried the following methods to get these:

1. Direct download with Firefox - not working *g*
2. Download with RM Recorder - not working
3. Download with Steambox - not working (says "outdated RealPlayer Version")
4. Download with Net Transport - not working

I have changed pnm. to rtsp and httpand also portchanges - nothing works. Please help me! :)

I think its the same problem as guy below, only for audio not video:

I can't get a handle on a music clip url (like profile.myspace.com/index...id=2663038 for instance) because it operates through macromedia flash... How can I view frame source to get the stream URL?

The two steps suggested in the faq are-

1. change the prefix to rtsp (tried, didn't work)

2."change from default to PNM- PNA port." In the options menu under the tools tab on net-transport, I can't find the port settings, so I haven't tried this. What am I missing?

I am using firefox and the latest version of the net-xfer. the file URL is pnm://real.yv.org/ashkenaz/970830.klezmatics.ra.

I tried "Flashcapture", but it only records the flashplayer without the video stream.
URL Snooper doesnt help to get URL of the video stream.
