Has anyone managed to grab any of the streams off Wolfgang's vault lately?

I used to be able to grab them (mp3) using replay media catcher but since I last looked they've changed the way they stream the files. Replay media catcher no longer grabs anything. I tried Url Helper but it didn't grab anything useful.

Is it possible to record the live webcast of U2 concert on youtube ???

Hey all. Has anyone else ever come across something like this when trying to download an mms stream?

C-Span has a new Flash player for its archives, replacing real player. I can't find the url of the streams to capture them. Does anybody know how to grab content, other than Total Recorder?

BBC 6Music 'looping' problem

I listen daily to BBC 6Music. I use an iMac, powerful system, everything in order, good network connection with excellent signal. Whichever browser I use, I suffer from this frustrating 'looping' phenomenon, whereby the program stops mid-flow and then restarts at a point I already heard perhaps 30 minutes earlier. I am lucky to get through a a few hours without this happening. If this doesn't happen, the whole thing just freezes. It happens often - very annoying. Any solutions...

saving long MP3 file

IDE/SATA/DVD R/W question

hello... bit of a basic question but here you go... i recently bought a SATA DVD-R/W+ drive for my PC but i only seem to have IDE cables coming from my mother board, i do have a SATA150 slot though but not sure if that's for a DVD drive? are there adaptor cables out there? i'm not sure what make/model my motherboard is... cheers.

hi, i used orbit to download the URL radioactiveman_growl_20080722_hi.m4a.flv but the file saves as an FLV file. i tried using Mplayer to play (or convert) it to a standard MP3 couldn't fathom it really. is there freeware out there that an idiot like myself could use to convert m4a.flv to .mp3? oh, this came off the samurai.fm website. cheers.

CFL game URL

I'm trying to download archived CFL games from the TSN website, and it's all been going well so far except for everygame Saskatchewan has played. For some reason, URL Snooper detects the stream for every other team but them, and thence, I can't download their games. Can anyone grab this stream and explain to me how you did it? I've tried updating URLSNooper, WinPcap, tried new programs, nothing's worked. They all come back blank for Rider games.

NPR.ORG...their flashplayer for archived concerts - problematic...any help?

I am an old hand at this and joined the forum a few years back. #It taught me everything I now and has caused me to be forum stream stealer expert in a few places online! hehe.
but still sometimes I get a real problematic one and I have to return to the likes of the great and the good around here (veblin...you still around...?) for advice!

Ok, I've read many posts here regarding downloading from BBC sites, and this seems to work fine if the file has a 'Listen Again' or 'Listen on Standalone Player' option - I simply save the file, open with notepad and paste the link into Streambox. However, on BBC 6 Music, there seems to be no option for this - the program just starts playing (in Firefox) or loads in a new browser window (Internet Explorer). Despite viewing the source for the page, I can't seem to...

I know this one should be easy but it's been giving me a hard time.
Until recently, URL Snooper showed two URLs: one starting "mms://wms.stream.aol..." (playable, but not downloadable); and one starting "mms://wmsorig.stream.aol...", that I could download with Orbit Downloader. But lately only the first one is shown and none of the tools I've tried work, except for "Web Stream Recorder Pro" that, for some reason, crashes frequently on those URLs or...
