OK - I managed to get ALL The way through the process...

Set up WMP 9, Installed the DLLs (though it did not work until I put them into the programfiles/windows media player folder... not the windows/system32 folder - but I just put them in both places to be safe)

I installed the DRM program into the c:/DRM folder.... I put my DRM file in that folder - Ran Sidda from the command prompt - entered the key into the media player....

The video ran fine - so I closed it, and hit enter in the Sidda window - just like I am supposed to. It says it successfully got the key - and created the "filename.key" file.

I then run the DRMcreep program using the key I was provided by the sidda program. It goes through the motions - and then spits out a NoDRM version of the file.

---------HERE IS THE PROBLEM------------

I try to play the non DRM version of the file. It allows the file to play without entering the DRM key - but it plays just as it would if you force it to play without the DRM key (like using the VLC media player from Videolan.org - which will play and media file regardless of codec... and regardless of wether ths file is complete or incomplete)

So yes, it DID create a non DRM version of the file - but it is not viewable. It is scrambled, and playes exactly like a DRM file forced to play without its DRM key.

Has ANYONE actually gotten the new UNDRM files to play properly?

PLEASE reply if you have, as I am curious to get this to work.... this method seems a lot more efficient than using FRAPS to screen capture the whole vid - then compress it via divx codec or something.
