StreamBox VCR does not work with password protected streams.

It never has and probably never will.

If the stream you want to record requires a username and password you will have to use a different recorder.

If the stream is Real Media try programs like.

Some of these programs will allow you to enter a username and password.
Some of these programs can or will prompt for a username and password.
Most of these programs will allow you to have the username and password in the URL.
