I've a niggling problem with StreemBox (Turbo) VCR's resume/restart.
I now have a 3.5Mbps/128kbps adsl connection. What I'm experiencing now is that very often the download - typically from BBC - needs to automatically resume (restart
is Streambox's word for the function), which it does, and the download will then complete, apparently satisfactorily.
The niggling problem comes when I play the file back. At certain points the played back audio is scraunched/silenced even, but comes good if I stop playback (not just
pause) and then start it again, and then slide the start point beyond the audio "point of failure" I mention. Hope that's clear.
Not too much of an issue if I'm at the machine when the problem hits, but if I'm listening to it in bed on a cold morning with the help of my FM stereo microtransmitter, then it really is a right pita.
Thoughts folks ???
