Hi,

I've successfully used Streambox to do a lot of very cool things, but I'm struggling with how to solve this current problem.

I'm attempting to use an AutoIt script along with the Windows XP Scheduled Task manager to automate the capture of some "live" streaming radio programs. However, whenever there's a hiccup, SB will "Restart" and in so doing it will wipe out any data already written to the output file, since it seems to "Restart" by opening the same filename, thereby deleting the partial recording. What remains, therefore, is only that data which occurred after the most recent Restart. Hope this description makes sense.

Is there any way to tell SB to "Restart" if necessary, but not to wipe out the existing data it's already written to the file? I.e., is there some combination of timeout/restart or other settings that would do the trick?

Note: I've played around with using SB's own scheduling and could never make any progress with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim S.
